Club Discount and Overflowing Sale Bin!!
One of the most fun benefits of the “Never Enough Yarn” Club is the chance to get first pick at our sales and events. The night before any of these open, we have an early entry night, just for club members. Our Great Adirondack Trunk Show will be the same. Although it officially starts on July 1st, club members will have the chance to come in the evening on June 30th and get first pick of the gorgeous yarns that will be in the store for 2 weeks only.
For one week only, from today, Wednesday June 17 to Wednesday June 24th, you can join the “Never enough Yarn” Club for the earlier introductory rate of $40. June Pattern of the Month and Next Knit-a-long!
Mock Socks! Real socks…mock cable! This month’s pattern of the month is a great pattern for those that love the look of cables, but don’t enjoy working cables. The pattern looks lovely in many self-striping yarns as well as semi-solids. On lighter colored yarns, the mock cable gives a lacey almost old-fashioned look and with others gives a beautiful highlight to subtle color variations. The pattern gives size variations for women’s small to large and any length you desire (of course).
This pattern requires just one ball of Lana Grossa Sock Yarn. This pattern is free through the month of June with purchase of suggested yarn.
Knit-a-long update:
Our next knit-a-long will begin on June 18th. We are jumping in and making the JojoLand Swirl Shawl:
It’s beautiful and unique which means many people have already gotten ready for this knit-a-long even before the official mention (that’s this one…by the way!). We may be outside for this one as it’s staying light ’til almost closing time now, so if you have a folding chair, bring it a long. Let’s see how many people shuffling along our little plaza we can weird out….hoards of knitters all knitting the same thing. What’s next? A knitted ufo sighting?
