April Pattern of the Month!
It appears to be Noro Mania this month! Our April Pattern of the month is this great felted bag!
This pattern is a nice easy knit with a classic felted bag construction. You can make it in either the messenger size (shown above) or passport bag size! The straps (the crowning glory of this bag, no?) are made from one skein of Riviera using a basic hairpin lace crochet. There’s a video link on the pattern, but you can also just come on in and learn to use the hairpin frame…its really fun and great technique to try out lots of different yarns with.

New KAL – Noro Log Cabin Blanket!
If you don’t look out your window, you might believe me that it is spring! Which means….time for knit-a-longs! Our first knit-a-long will begin this Thursday, April 7th. We are going to be working on Noro Log Cabin Blankets. You can use any of these free patterns, and Kureyon, Silk Garden, or Taiyo! Many have already jumped on board with this one, so come in and check out the gorgeous squares being created!
As always, knit-alongs are free, but we do require that you buy yarn for the project at Island Yarn.
