Destashing service
We all know how it happens….something is on sale….something we couldn’t resist a long time ago isn’t quite as appealing as it used to be…whatever the reason, the stash has taken over our lives. Husbands are threatening divorce (you love the yarn more than me!) and children are in danger of suffocation when the precarious tower of yarn falls. In hopes of preventing such catastrophes, we are now offering a destashing service through Island Yarn.
We’ve revamped the destashing service!
From here on out, it will work like this: bring in any yarn – ends of balls, random tagless stuff, whole balls – whatever you don’t like to be sitting in your stash. For each 1 LB you bring in (I have a scale) I’ll give you a store credit for $5 off your next purchase of $20. There’s no limit on either quantity or quality* that you bring in…and you can apply the credit to anything in the store. Store credits will be good for 1 year from date of issue. Just think how impressed those non-knitters in your life are gonna be when you clean out that weird box of random yarn you been holding onto! 
*I know it should go without saying, but I’m going to say it anyway…only bring yarn that is bug/moth free. If you have those, do us all a favor and let it go to the dumpster!

I think it is a very good idea. Now I have a reason to clear up alll my yarn.
